Orioles-Blue Jays series preview: First place vs. last place in the AL East

After three consecutive series against National League teams, in which the O’s rolled to a 6-2 record, the Orioles return to AL East play with a three-game series against the Blue Jays in Baltimore.

It’s the first matchup between the two division rivals this season, and it pits the first-place Birds against the last-place Jays. I love typing “last-place Jays.” Of course, I would also love typing “last-place Yankees,” “last-place Red Sox,” or “last-place Rays.” I’m happy with any team being in the division cellar that isn’t the Orioles.

The Blue Jays, whom many expected to contend for the division crown this year, just can’t seem to find any kind of groove.
