The Case Western Reserve University track and field teams fell to Carnegie Mellon University 163-108 on Saturday in the 12th Annual Battle for the Obelisk held in the Veale Center. In the unique indoor dual meet scoring system, the men and women's scores are added together. The Spartan women fell 86-50, while the Spartan men fell 77-58.
On the men's side, senior Dominic Oddo won three events individually and was part of a winning relay team. Oddo took first place in the long jump with a jump of 6.88 meters, high jump with a mark of 1.
