For the second time in less than a year, the media gathered around to hear an introductory press conference with a new head coach for the Phoenix Suns. Mike Budenholzer, who previously coached in the same capacity with the Atlanta Hawks (2013-2018) and the Milwaukee Bucks (2018-2023), was hired a day after the organization separated from Frank Vogel.
Budenholzer has had the last year off from coaching following the sudden and tragic death of his brother during the 2023 postseason. Mike is the youngest of seven children, hailing from Holbrook, Arizona.
